Greenyard USA/Seald Sweet goes back to its roots with packaging for its Florida-grown oranges and tangerines.
To marks Seald Sweet’s 110th anniversary, the company has created collage designs for their packs using vintage style labels. These designs revive the old ‘crate labels’ used by Florida suppliers more than a century ago, including some of Seald Sweet’s original labels last used in the 1950s.
Although the company now sells a wide variety of produce from around the world, they want to remember and show-case that Seald Sweet was born in Florida, as a Citrus grower cooperative, more than a century ago.
“The retro-labels for oranges and tangerines reflect the heritage of Florida citrus, which was our beginning,” says Mayda Sotomayor, Managing Director of Greenyard USA/Seald Sweet.
